At The Playden, we provide a flexible range of high-quality childcare services designed to support both children and their families.
Our Breakfast Club offers a calm and welcoming start to the day, where children can enjoy a nutritious meal and ease into their morning with a variety of quiet, engaging activities before school begins.
The price of the breakfast club is £6.00. The session runs from 7:30am to 8:30am Monday to Friday.
After the school day ends, our After School Club gives children the opportunity to unwind, socialise, and take part in a wide selection of structured and free-play activities in a safe, familiar environment. With our unique free-flow setup, children can move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces, making full use of our large outdoor play area to stay active, explore, and develop their independence. Monday to Thursday children are split between two areas (one for KS1 and the other for KS2).
The price of the after-school club is £12.25. The session runs from 15:00pm (when school finishes) to 18:00pm Monday to Friday.
During school holidays, our Holiday Club extends this experience to children from across the York area, offering exciting themed activities, creative projects, sports, and games that keep children entertained and engaged throughout the day. Across all of our services, we prioritise a child-led approach, ensuring every child feels included, supported, and encouraged to learn through play, while parents can feel confident their children are in a caring and reliable setting.
The price of Holiday Club is £36.50. The session runs from 7:30am to 18:00pm.
Extra charges may be applied for trips and outings.
Our dedicated team of staff are fully DBS-checked and trained in safeguarding, ensuring every child is cared for in a safe, secure, and supportive environment.
